“SF/Bay Area friends + fam: please join me on Saturday, June 4th (7pm) as I bring my book back to one of its “homes” — the San Francisco/Bay Area and, more precisely, SOMA. I’ll be reading excerpts from the book as well as be joined onstage in a conversation with my BFF and one of the event’s fabulous organizers, Olivia Malabuyo Tablante.

Think of this as an informal, unofficial celebration of the recent designation of SoMA as a Filipino Cultural Heritage District!

This event is FREE & open to the public. Please RSVP to the event FB page so we get an accurate count for light refreshments and books. Daghang salamat to my book launch organizers and Bay Area Pinay all-star team — Olivia, Alleluia Panis, and Prof. Dawn Bohulano Mabalon.” – Christine
